Lebanese army seizes warehouses containing weapons, drugs

The Lebanese Armed Forces announced Saturday that they have seized a warehouse containing military equipment and another containing large amounts of drugs.

“In addition to arresting two suspects, the army seized a weapons warehouse in Brital which contained military rifles, machine guns, rocket-propelled grenades and ammunition, in addition to various military equipment,” the army command said in a statement.

Another warehouse was seized in the town of Dar al-Wasaa which contained around four truckloads of drugs.
