Gemayel: No regime crisis in Lebanon

Lebanese Kataeb Leader Amine Gemayel noted that the country is paying the price for what is taking place in Syria and Iraq, noting that Lebanon is not going through a regime crisis, but suffering the repercussions of the regional turmoil.

As for the party’s stance on the parliamentary term extension, Gemayel stated that the country is currently surviving without a new parliament or a president, hence their rejection of the said extension, calling for the election of a new head of state followed by a parliamentary vote.
