Sleiman condemns Israeli raid, warns against retaliation

Former President Michel Sleiman condemned the recent Israeli air strike in al-Quneitra, stressing the need not to carry out any retaliatory act that may serve Israel’s interest.

Sleiman outlined the importance of adopting the defense strategy agreed upon during previous dialogue sessions, explaining that Hezbollah’s capabilities should contribute to boosting the Lebanese Army’s power in its war against Israel.

Sleiman phone called Head of the Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc and extended condolences over the death of Hezbollah fighters in the raid.
