Security Source Reveals Truth Behind Riad al-Solh Clashes

Security source told MTV that 25 vandals from Hay al-Sellom pulled parts from a Customs' motorbike that was burnt down on Sunday, and used them to hit security forces after throwing 4 molotov bombs at them.

 

The source said that forces tried to catch the attackers but were deterred by a sudden wave of cheers among protesters.

 

"The attackers were able to flee from Riad al-Solf square, and from thence to Salim Slam tunnel but forces deployed in the square and vicinity are trying to track them down," the source added.
