Grand Mufti Derian Checks on Lebanese Pilgrims' Well-Being in Phone Call

Grand Mufti of Lebanon, Sheikh Abdel-Latif Derian, has asked the head of Lebanon's Hajj pilgrimage mission, Sheikh Mohamad Assaf, about the well-being of the country’s pilgrims in the Holy Land of Mecca.

In a phone call, Assaf assured Derian that all Lebanese pilgrims are "safe and are performing their religious duties in due form," adding that Saudi Arabian authorities are working tirelessly to facilitate the smooth running of pilgrimage.
