Srar Landfill Work Abruptly Shut Down After Attack

Unidentified assailants assaulted a bulldozer driver working at Srar landfill and seized the keys to his vehcil, demanding the immediate halt of work on the sanitary landfill, the state-run National News Agency reported.

In light of the attack, the contracted company ordered work to a stop until a security back-up is provided.

Internal Security Forces are said to have opened an inquiry into the incident.
