Kids Say the Darndest Things was one of the hit shows of the late Nineties... and it seems the hilariously shocking things that an innocent child says never stops being funny.  

To celebrate this, parents have once again shared their children's entertaining drawings and letters on social media.

Some are the result of spelling mistakes, others of poorly drawn figures and one from a misinterpretation of what mum and dad do behind closed doors.  

One priceless picture shows a child who has drawn himself cheering 'go dad!' outside his bedroom door.

In the caption for the drawing the child explained that he could hear 'Daddy and Bich wrestling' so he cheered them on.

'I can tell [Dad is] winning because of the sounds she makes,' the drawing reads, with a speech bubble coming from behind the door saying 'Ohhh ohh'.

In another drawing, a child's inability to spell the word beach led to parents giggling as the top of the picture read 'Bi**h! I love the bi**h'.

One kid, who was asked to draw Jesus washing the feet of his disciples, accidentally made it a little more inappropriate than their teacher would have liked.

In the picture, Jesus kneels at groin height of one of his disciples. The disciple, drawn in a red robe, says 'you don't have to do this' whilst Jesus replies 'yes I do'.  

In one letter, a young girl named Brooke writes to her mother what is supposed to a heartwarming thank you.

The letter then turns dark when Brooke writes that 'if I had a different Mom I would punch her in the face and go find you,' before signing off 'love, Brooke'.

For all the trouble children cause, at least they give us amusement through their hilarious drawings and spelling mistakes, brightening up dreary days.
