Presidency of the United States: The Unfit vs The Unfittest

You would come to expect that while witnessing one of the fiercest battles for presidency in the history of the United States of America, a certain level of ‘elegance’ or ethics would be present. But unfortunately, this is not the case.
It is very ridiculous to witness such silliness while fighting an important battle like so. It seems that we have become judges in a children’s fight over candy between the highly unexpected figure Donald Trump, and the highly controversial figure Hillary Clinton, with ‘an eye for an eye’ as the rule.
How does Trump believe that portraying himself through such childish actions is enhancing his campaign? Day by day, he proves to be nothing but a spoiled child trying to have fun with what he believes to be one of his ‘games’.
What makes this even more irritating is his lack of responsibility when it comes to proving the opposite of being careless and reckless. For example, when President Obama declared that “Trump keeps on proving he is unfit to serve as president”, the latter hit back by saying that “Clinton has proven herself unfit to serve in any government office”.
So just to be clear, this is how a mature responsible man, one of the presidential candidates, should defend himself when tackled on the nerve. Brilliant!
Although, this does not deny the fact that Clinton has her flaws and mistakes, her bumps in the road. She has proven to be a divisive figure throughout her long political journey, and how is it possible not to mention the ‘hacked emails scandal’; but at least she understands that this is not a kids’ game.
The battle is the presidency of the United States of America. The winner in the field must be the one with the proper leadership skills.
Is it going to be the womanizer that looks at his daughter as nothing but a sexual tool, as well as feeding his campaign off of racial and religious hatred? Or the woman ‘believed’ to have a hand supporting terrorism, but simultaneously understands the true game she is playing?
Both presidential candidates have galvanized and divided the United States, and none of them is perfect. The fights they have fought, as well as all the debates they have been through bring us to witness this violent battle today.
