Bassil invites Gabon President to visit Lebanon

Foreign Affairs Minister Gebran Bassil discussed with Gabon Republic President Ali Bongo the bilateral relations between Lebanon and Gabon and invited him, on behalf of the President of the Republic Michel Aoun, to visit Lebanon.

 

Gabon's President promised to meet the invitation.

 

Bongo gave his instructions, upon Bassil's request, to ask the Gabon authorities to facilitate the issuance of visas and official documents to the Lebanese Diaspora.

 

The meeting paves the way for a number of crucial agreements to develop relations between the two countries.
