Rosie O'Donnell Urges Melania to Divorce President Trump

The Rosie O'Donnell-Donald Trump feud shows no signs of slowing.

The 55-year-old New York native, arguably the president's fiercest critic in the past decade, took to Twitter Wednesday to urge First Lady Melania Trump to divorce the commander-in-chief, take her loved ones 'and FLEE.'

The comedian was responding to a tweet from the 46-year-old Slovenia native.

Melania's tweet read: 'I urge you to not be afraid to fail - as failure will never have the power to define you, as long as you learn from it.'

Rosie followed up in saying: 'which is y u need to divorce him - take ur son n parents and FLEE.'

It's the latest in an endless exchange of salvos between Trump and O'Donnell, whose vicious war of words ignited amid a December 2006 segment on Rosie's former show, The View, about Trump's decision to keep Tara Conner in his Miss USA pageant amid a scandal.

Rosie noted Trump's failed first two marriages, calling the nascent commander in chief a 'snake-oil salesman.'

Trump shot back, telling People he felt the comic was 'a real loser' and vowing legal action after she claimed he'd went bankrupt before.

'I look forward to taking lots of money from my nice fat little Rosie,' he said.

Trump's continued to spew vitriol toward O'Donnell in the years since, demeaning her marriage to (now-ex-wife) Michelle Rounds; her short-lived The Rosie Show on OWN; her weight-loss surgery; and her second stint on The View in 2014.

The feud garnered coverage amid the election process. Trump, asked during an August 2015 Republican presidential primary debate about a calling women names like 'dogs,' 'pigs' and 'slobs' - replied jokingly, 'Only Rosie O'Donnell.'

Rosie took some flak last November after she openly speculated on if Trump's 10-year-old son Barron was autistic.

She tweeted: 'Barron Trump Autistic? If so - what an amazing opportunity to bring attention to the AUTISM epidemic,' linking to a video.

O'Donnell later tweeted she was 'truly sorry' to Melania for the remarks.
