Lebanon swimming team bound for Budapest to partake in world championship

The Lebanese national swimming team left for the Hungarian capital of Budapest on Thursday to participate in the 17th World Swimming Championships, scheduled from July 22 to 31.
The Lebanese team comprises of Secretary General, Farid Abi Raad, National Coach, Elie Boutros, swimmers Anthony Saibi (50m freestyle and 100m freestyle), Gabriella Duaihy (400m freestyle and 800m freestyle), and Jennifer Rizkallah (50m backstroke and 100m backstroke).
Lebanese swimmer, Anthony Barbar, who is a U.S. resident, will also join the Lebanese team (50m freestyle and 50m butterfly). The head of the union, Tony Nassar, will join the delegation to participate, along with Abi Raad, in the general assembly meeting scheduled for Saturday, July 22, 2017.
