Aoun to International Basketball Federation: Lebanon is ready to host any international or regional sports tournament

President of the Republic, Michel Aoun, stressed Lebanon's readiness to host any international or regional sports tournament, saying that "the Asian basketball championship, which started last week and ends at the beginning of next week, reflects the international confidence in Lebanon and its presence in regional and international forums, due to its stability. 

President Aoun's words came during his meeting on Friday morning at Baabda Palace with a delegation of the International Basketball Federation, led by Horacio Moratori, accompanied by a delegation of the Federation. 

Aoun highlighted the importance of bolstering ties between Lebanon and the International Basketball Federation "FIBA", and strengthening the Lebanese presence in various fields.
