Hezbollah on Friday sternly denounced the "hideous terrorist attack" that targeted al-Rawda mosque in the northern Egyptian Sinai, which left scores dead and wounded.
Hezbollah extended sincere condolences to the families of fallen victims, the Egyptian people and government, wishing all the wounded speedy recovery.
"This horrific terrorist operation, which discounts the sanctity of man, time and place, is the product of the Wahhabi Takfiri thought," Hezbollah said in a statement.
The Party also deemed such an abhorrent attack a "felony in the context of mobile crimes that rattle our region to instill chaos, terror and instability in our Arab and Islamic countries."
Hezbollah pointed out that "the horror of the crime reveals the identity of the perpetrators and their criminal nature," which confirms that they are criminals who cannot belong to the law or religion.
The Party reiterated its permanent call for hard and responsible work in the face of terrorism, terrorists and countries that support and fund these groups intellectually, politically and financially.
