Spokesman of Islamist detainees' families arrested in Bebdine

An army Intelligence patrol arrested on Thursday morning the spokesperson of the families of the Islamist detainees in the north, Sheikh Ahmad Chemali, in the Akkar town of Bebnine.

Subsequently, the families issued a statement urging the competent authorities for immediate interference to release Chemali; a sit-in will be observed next.
