Khatib requests on Cabinet to include financial incentives for municipalities on agenda

Minister of Environment Tarek Khatib sent a letter this Wednesday to the General Secretariat of the Cabinet, requesting that it includes on the agenda of its next session his request to give financial incentives to some of the municipalities and towns where the establishment of a sanitary landfill or waste sorting and treatment plants is underway, in parallel with fining other municipalities which have been polluting the environment with their improper management of waste.
