Arrival of Turkish ship for electricity generation off Jiyeh coast

The Turkish ship designated to generate electricity for Lebanese areas reached Lebanon's territorial waters off the coast of Jiyeh on Sunday morning, where it will stand besides the Jiyeh thermal plant and link to its network to generate power.

The vessel was seen towed by a dedicated cruiser while en-route from Beirut to the Jiyeh plant.
