Khatib welcomes parliamentary committees’ adoption of comprehensive waste management bill

Caretaker Environment Minister Tarek Khatib welcomed via twitter on Friday the joint parliamentary committees approval of a comprehensive waste management bill during their meeting on Thursday.

"The approval of this bill demonstrates a sense of responsibility and a will to apply the proposed solutions to the waste problem without delay and far from personal interests that had blocked a solution for the waste crisis for years,” Khatib tweeted.
