ISF Information branch foils ISIS plan to target Army checkpoint, church

The Internal Security Forces Public Relations Branch issued a statement on Friday confirming that the ISF's Information Branch has accomplished a quality operation by thwarting a plan by ISIS to target an Army checkpoint and a church in Lebanon.

The terrorist plan was to be implemented by a Lebanese national, a previously 3-year Roumieh prison inmate, who's affiliated to ISIS and is in direct contact with the said organization in Syria.
