Dar al Fatwa: September 11 first day of new Hijri year

Dar al-Fatwa announced in a statement on Wednesday, that the first day of the new Hijri year (1440 AH) falls on forthcoming Tuesday, September 11, 2018. 

The statement added that Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian would deliver a message upon the occasion at 10:30 am on Monday.
