Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Lebanon, Hamad Al-Shamsi, said on Saturday that "the relationship with Lebanon will remain strong, especially that Prime Minister-designate, Saad Hariri, is at the head of the awaited Lebanese government to which we look forward."

Shamsi's words came while laying the cornerstone of a public hall that will be allocated for events in the area of Majdal Anjar, funded by the UAE.

Shamsi also revealed the role of the UAE in the construction of "Khalifa Bin Zayed Hospital" in Shebaa region at a cost of $ 25 million, noting that the Makassed Association was commissioned to run the hospital in cooperation with PM-designate Hariri and former Minister of Health, MP Wael Abu Faour.

He referred herein to a "Saudi-Emirati-Kuwaiti" support, in which Lebanon will have a significant share.
