Shamsi inaugurates Emirates water tank in Koura

The town of Badnayel in Koura inaugurated on Saturday the "Emirates Water Tank" under the patronage of President Saad Hariri and the UAE Ambassador to Lebanon Hamad Shamsi, funded by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Affairs.

The inauguration was attended by Ambassador Shamsi, Advisor to President Saad Hariri in the North, Abdul Ghani Kabara, in addition to a number of political and municipal figures.

In his delivered word, Shamsi stressed the keenness of the UAE to finance the development and humanitarian projects, especially in the poorest regions of Lebanon.

He also pointed out that the UAE ranked first in the world in providing humanitarian aid.
