Khoury: We seek government with agreement, balance between its ministers

Minister of Economy, Raed Khoury, said on Friday that the Free Patriotic Movement (FPM) was one of the most concerned and interested parties in swiftly forming a government.

"We want the government to include the minimum requirement of agreement and balance between its ministers to be able to be productive in the forthcoming stage without obstruction," he said in an interview. 

Khoury could not help but wonder on what basis Prime Minister-designate, Saad Hariri, had declared a close birth of the lengthily awaited cabinet. However, he praised Hariri's positive stance, guessing whether the latter was willing to relinquish what he deemed his right in a bid to facilitate the formation of the cabinet.
