The National News Agency published a general review of the biography of Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Mahmoud Komati: 

- Born in 1953 in Hareit Hreik, married with seven children.

- Holder of a graduate degree in Political Sociology.

- He began his work as an Arabic teacher in public schools.

- He was one of the founders of Hezbollah and was appointed in various positions within the party to become vice-president of the political council, of which he was a member.

- He was recently in charge of relations with the Lebanese political parties.
