National Commission for Lebanese Women Affairs leaves for London to exchange experiences

A delegation from the National Commission for Lebanese Women Affairs and representatives of a number of civil society organizations in Lebanon launched a visit to the UK on Sunday, organized by the British Council. 

The purpose of the visit is to exchange experiences and focus on supporting mechanisms to enhance women's participation in the political decision, in addition to preparing an executive plan to strengthen national contacts and alliances in preparation for future municipal and parliamentary elections. 

The delegation will also hold meetings in the Scottish and British Parliament.
