El-Hassan arrives in Tunisia to partake in Arab Interior Ministers Conference

Interior and Municipalities Minister, Raya El-Hassan, arrived this afternoon in Tunisia to participate in the 36th Round of Arab Interior Ministers Conference, which will begin its works in the Tunisian capital tomorrow.

El-Hassan is accompanied by a security delegation comprising Internal Security Forces Director General, Major General Imad Othman, General Security Director General's Representative, Brigadier General Elias el-Baisari, and senior officers.

Welcoming the Interior Minister and her accompanying delegation was Tunisian Interior Minister, Hisham al-Furati, and high-ranking officers.

Minister El-Hassan will be addressing the conferees on the overall situation in Lebanon and the region and security coordination among the Arab countries, especially in the fight against terrorism, as well as the need for Arab solidarity to prevent risks.
