IDAL launches report on investment policy review of Lebanon

In collaboration with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the Investment Development Authority of Lebanon (IDAL) launched its report on Investment Policy Review of Lebanon, in a workshop held at the Grand Serail Wednesday, under the auspices of Prime Minister Saad Hariri represented by Information Minister, Jamal Jarrah.

In his word, Minister Jarrah indicated that a major workshop was ahead of Lebanon to boost the national economy.

He explained that the workshop would focus on developing infrastructures, improving the performance of the public institutions, and modernizing the laws that will govern and organize the work of the private sector.

"The main goal behind all this is to raise the growth ratios and create job opportunities for our youth," Jarrah said.

"In Lebanon, we have a distinguished and dynamic private sector, which will have a crucial and efficient role in the upcoming workshop," he added.

He also highlighted the necessity to activate and bolster the role of IDAL.
