Army deploys heavily in Aley region

The Lebanese army deployed heavily in Aley region, especially in the areas which witnessed last Sunday's tense incidents, as part of the security day carried out by the army.

Army deployment included Choueifat, Qabrshmoun, Baalchmay and Sawfar.

The army also set up checkpoints in Qabrshmoun, Al Bustani, Ainab-Shemlan road, Baalchmay-Sawfar road.

The move was welcomed by the locals of Aley region.
