Army runs patrols along Syria border areas

The Lebanese army ran patrols on Wednesday along the border areas with Syria, in a bid to ensure the closure of all illegal crossings.

The army also carried out a raid in the town of Al-Qasr, arresting a man wanted on several arrest warrants.

The detained person, identified with the initials Kh.N., was referred to the concerned judiciary for investigation.

The army also set up checkpoints to examine identification cards and documents of passing cars.
