Ibrahim from Dar al-Fatwa: There is progress and our tour is evident proof

Director-General of Lebanon's General Security, Major General Abbas Ibrahim, has left Dar Al-Fatwa after meeting with Grand Mufti of the Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, NNA reporter said on Wednesday. 

"There is progress, and our tour is an evident proof of progress," Ibrahim said on emerging. 

For his part, Mufti Derian praised the outstanding efforts being made by the General Security's Director-General, General Abbas Ibrahim, in the case of Qabershmoun incident. 

"Politicians, no matter how different in opinion, they remain the sons of the same country. They have the wisdom to deal with matters no matter how difficult," the Mufti said. 

He deemed tasking Major General Ibrahim, in this and other national cases, clear evidence of the awareness and sense of responsibility of President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, House Speaker Nabih Berri, and Prime Minister Saad Hariri.
