Byblos International Festival Cancels Mashrou' Leila Concert

Byblos International Festival Committee announced on Tuesday the cancellation of Mashrou' Leila concert, which was set for Friday evening, August 9.

"In an unprecedented step and as a result of successive developments, the committee decided to suspend Mashrou' Leila's concert, which is scheduled for Friday evening, August 9, 2019, in order to prevent bloodshed and to maintain security and stability", the statement said.

"We regret what happened and apologize to the public", the committee added.
