Interior Minister discusses with World Bank official strengthening of municipal capacities

Minister of Interior, Raya Al-Hassan, on Wednesday welcomed President of the Economic Symposium in Lebanon, Rafik Zantout, in presence of former MP Salim Diab. Discussions featured high on issues related to the economic and developmental reality in light of the political developments on the Lebanese arena.

Minister Hassan then met with a delegation from the World Bank in Lebanon, headed by Sateh Arnaout. They discussed a project to support the capacities of a number of municipalities to enhance their investments and financial management, and to prepare an enabling environment for private sector participation in these investments.
