President Aoun welcomes Justice Minister, discusses affairs of displaced with Habr

President Michel Aoun held several meetings on judicial and developmental issues prior to his chairing the Cabinet session scheduled for 12:30 pm this Thursday, at the summer presidential residence in Beiteddine.
The president welcomed Justice Minister Albert Sarhan, with whom he discussed the affairs of the ministry and the upcoming appointments in a number of vacant posts.
Aoun also welcomed Damour municipality head, Charles Ghafari, and an accompanying delegation, with talks touching on the demands and needs of the region.
Ghafari said the municipality "has offered land for the Lebanese Army, General Security and the Ministry of Health, and will provide a piece of land for the establishment of the Human Academy for Encounter and Dialogue."
President Aoun reiterating that "the goal of this academy is to spread peace around the world and to bridge the gap between peoples, thus making Lebanon a platform for peace after international institutions failed to achieve this goal."
Aoun then welcomed the head of the National Fund for the Displaced, Brigadier Nicolas Habr, who briefed him on the work of the Fund in light of the plan developed by the Minister of Displaced, Ghassan Atallah, to follow up on the file.
