Lionel Messi’s infant son accidentally celebrated the wrong team scoring this weekend and Luis Suarez hilariously pulled him up on it. 

Messi’s 3-year-old son, Mateo, clearly assumed a goal could only be a good thing and cheered when Real Betis took the lead against Barcelona. Barcelona being his dad’s team.

While the rest of the section was silenced by the goal, Messi’s young son reacted in exactly the wrong way and Suarez, the former Liverpool striker and serial biter, wasn’t shy about reprimanding the lad.

All’s well that ends well though and the clip, which has gone viral, ends with laughter all round while the game concluded with Barcelona triumphing 5-2.
