Hassan Jaber, detained in Ethiopia, has been released: Foreign Ministry

In an issued statement, the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Lebanese citizen, Hassan Mohamed Jaber, kidnapped at Addis Ababa Airport on Saturday was released on Sunday morning.

After the ministry summoned the Ethiopian Chargé d'affaires in Beirut on Friday 13/9/2019, as directed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and after giving him until Monday, 16/9/2019 to provide the Lebanese State with the necessary information about Jaber, we were informed on Sunday that the Ethiopian authorities had released Jaber and that he would return from Ethiopia to Gabon and then to Lebanon," the statemenmt said.
