Mikati meets Kubis, Claudine Aoun Roukoz

Former Prime Minister Najib Mikati on Monday welcomed in his office the United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Jan Kubis, with whom he discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the broad region, as well as the outcome of the UN General Assembly's recent meetings.

Mikati also received president of the National Committee for Lebanese Women (NCLW), Claudine Aoun Roukoz, with talks reportedly touching on the draft law prepared by NCLW aimed at amending the Lebanese Nationality Law to recognize the right of Lebanese women married to foreigners to transmit their nationality to their children.
