Hariri meets with British companies in the UAE

On the sidelines of the UAE-Lebanon Investment Forum held in Abu Dhabi, Prime Minister Saad Hariri met Monday with a delegation of representatives of British companies in the United Arab Emirates that are interested in investing in Lebanon. The meeting included the following companies: Energy Industries Council (EIC), Penspen, Shell, Vodafone, Wood PLC, Mott MacDonald, Foster +Partners, Mace, Grimshaw Architects, Rider Levett Bucknall RLB, Jacobs, Petrofac, ARUP, Ordnance Survey International and G4S Group. 

The meeting was attended by former Minister Ghattas Khoury, the President of the Council for Development and Reconstruction Nabil Jisr, Ogero Chairman Imad Kreidieh, the president of the Association of Banks in Lebanon Salim Sfeir, Hariri's Advisors Nadim Mounla and Hazar Caracalla and a number of Lebanese businessmen and investors.


During the meeting, Hariri spoke about the investment atmosphere in Lebanon, the government's program for the coming years and the Lebanese economic situation. 

At the end of the forum, the Emirati Minister of Economy Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori held a lunch banquet in honor of Premier Hariri and the participants in the conference. 

Hariri also received a delegation from the Future movement in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, headed by the Dubai coordinator Ahmed Sabra and Abu Dhabi coordinator Imad Al-Zain.
