Khattar: Firefighter helicopters have halted mission due to nightfall, weather conditions

Director General of the Civil Defense, Brigadier General Raymond Khattar, said on Tuesday evening that "the firefighter helicopters have stopped their work due to nightfall and weather conditions."

"We will pursue our operations with what's available," he said, noting that "if the rain continues to pour, it would help a lot."
