Twitter suspends Lebanese TV account

Al-Manar Television said on Sunday that most of its Twitter accounts had been suspended.

The ban and suspension included news and software accounts without warning. "The ban came without prior warning and the decision appeared to be under political pressure," Al-Manar said.

Al-Manar added: "The accounts of the channel and the site had about one million followers and are characterized by objectivity and accuracy in the material and news."
