Caretaker Minister of Information, Manal Abdel Samad Najd, cabled on Monday morning her Jordanian counterpart, Sakher Marwan Dudin, about the coup attempt in Jordan earlier this week, confirming Lebanon's support.

In turn, Dudin thanked Abdel Samad and the Lebanese for supporting his country, stressing that Jordan will always be a bulwark against the conspirators and perpetrators who want to destabilize the country and its security.

Additionally, the Minister phone called Jordanian Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Abdul Rahman Jaffal al-Hadid, underscoring the "The importance of the historical fraternal relations between the two countries, wishing Jordan "peace and stability."
