MTV Website has learned that the Iraqi Council of Ministers approved today a sum of 3.5 billion Iraqi dinars (about 2.4 million US dollars) of aid to the Lebanese army, which will be provided in the form of material and in-kind aid.

MTV Website has also learned that Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, followed up on this file and was one of the most advocates of the decision to assist the Lebanese army.
