The Media Office of the Ministry of Education announced, in a statement today, that "the examination department in the Ministry’s central headquarters is open and operating around the clock, even on weekends, and it is receiving written applications from candidates whose schools prevented them from applying for official exams for financial reasons."
It added that the offices of the educational districts in all governorates are also open on Saturday and Sunday, to receive written requests from candidates and transfer them to the examinations department before the start of the official exams.
Meanwhile, the Ministry called on all candidates whose PCR tests turn out positive with the Corona virus, “not to head to the examination centers, and to provide the educational department with a copy of the positive PCR result, because they will be compensated after their files are studied by the examining committees.”
The statement also indicated that in coordination with the Public Health Ministry, PCR tests will be conducted free of charge tomorrow, Sunday, in the assigned centers for infected candidates who wish to undergo PCR tests to confirm whether they have recovered, or candidates who have symptoms and wish to undergo the examination.
Meanwhile, the Media Office reminded of the Education Ministry's hotline 01-772000, and the special line to receive complaints related to official exams 01-772050.
