The Finance and Budget Parliamentary Committee decided on Tuesday to invite the government to a meeting to discuss the approved US dollar exchange rate to address the structural imbalances in the 2022 budget. 

In the wake of the session, MP Ibrahim Kanaan said: "The consecutive governments' violations of the Constitution in budget laws continue since the nineties, and it is high time those malpractices, for which the Lebanese people have paid dearly, stopped."
