Egypt's army chief, General Abdel Fattah al-Sisi called for a swift political transition in order to restore stability following the wave of unrest that hit the country.

Addressing soldiers and policemen at a seminar, Sisi  urged everyone to be truly aware of the size of the problems facing society, stressing the need to speed up the end of the transitional phase.
