Nasrallah to March 14: be modest like us

Distant speeches for Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah are alike whether in form or content but this time he decided to start with Aazaz kidnapped issue. He first hailed their return safe to Lebanon and then talked about Lebanese missing in “Syria’s jails as their parents claim”, said Nasrallah. “A committee should be formed to follow up this issue regardless of political considerations”, he added expressing Syria’s readiness to reach the end.

Nasrallah rules out ending the crisis in Syria via military means, saying that only a political solution is available by talks without preconditions. Meanwhile, there is a certain Lebanese camp that is linking the situation in Syria to that in Lebanon saying that regime will be ruled out.

According to Hezbollah, “Geneva2” gives a chance to Syria but “Saudi Arabia is seeking alone to obstruct dialogue in Syria and stands against political solution”, said Nasrallah.

Nasrallah said March 14 camp is liable for the country’s shutdown especially for delaying forming the cabinet. “Be modest like us, make sacrifices and accept a 9-9-6 cabinet”, he pointed out adding that Premier Najib Mikati is hesitant to convene the cabinet due to major political pressure.

Nasrallah called on President Michel Suleiman, Miqati and ministers to hold a cabinet session far from pressures in order to address oil and Tripoli files. “The only solution in Tripoli is a decisive ruling by Lebanese cabinet and cooperation among citizens to handle Army caretaking and not by calling on Daiich and Nusra”, he pointed out.
Nasrallah considered that national responsibility presumes prohibiting any explosion in any region and place in Lebanon stressing that the sole reason for not solving these files is exclusively political.
