ذكرت صحيفة "الأخبار" ان رئيس الحكومة السابق سعد الحريري يميل إلى تسمية النائب نهاد المشنوق لوزارة الداخلية، لكن مع عدم استبعاد النائب جمال الجراح، واللواء مروان زين (المدير العام الأسبق للأمن الداخلي، وسفير لبنان السابق في السعودية).
