The Lebanese Unification party head Wiam Wahhab during affirmed that the upcoming battle will be fought to recapture the Golan Heights, noting that the re-election of Syrian President Bachar al-Assad would be in favor of the nation's dignity, not in favor of al-Assad's person.

"His victory comes on behalf of the whole nation," Wahhab said.
