اشارت صحيفة "النهار" الى أنه توافرت معلومات عن ان تعيين رئيس جديد لمجلس القضاء الاعلى، وهو مركز خال منذ شباط الماضي، يتحرك بسرعة. وهناك ثلاثة اسماء لقضاة مرشحة لتولي هذا المنصب هم: طنوس مشلب، اليس شبطيني وأرليت الطويل.
