National Liberal Party (NLP) condemned Friday the abductions and counter-abductions operations in Lebanon, recalling Lebanese people of the black era they had been through which they are still paying high price for it.
In its weekly meeting, the party called on facing the crisis of abducted troops in Arsal away from sharp divisions so as to strengthen the Lebanese united stance and weaken the Syrian terrorists who are attempting to move their war into Lebanon.
As for the meeting held between Hizbullah Chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Change and Reform bloc head MP Michel Aoun, the party depicted it as an ordinary meeting between the allies, featuring high on mutual consensus over their performance regarding the obstruction of the presidential elections.
NLP also voiced its support to former President Michel Suleiman’s initiative dubbing it as a bridge to stage the presidential polls, implement Baabda Declaration and neutralize Lebanon from regional conflicts.
