MP Hajj Hassan criticized Wednesday the failure of the Lebanese state to assume its responsibilities amid multiple wildfires that have been sweeping the country for days.
"Despite the efforts of the concerned apparatuses yesterday, the incapacity and weakness of the state unfolded," the lawmaker said during a news conference at the Parliament.
"The Lebanese state has no preparations for quenching fires," he added.
