The US Department of War, the Pentagon, has released the sixth batch of declassified files related to unidentified flying objects (UFOs), also known as unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP).
The release comes as part of a presidential declassification program launched following President Donald Trump’s directives to increase transparency and make historical and sensitive files available to the public.
The batch includes 71 files, 67 from the Department of Defense and four from local law enforcement agencies in Colorado, comprising 55 PDF documents, 15 videos and one audio file, covering the period from 1952 to 2025.
The release includes thermal footage recorded by US Central Command (CENTCOM) over the Middle East in 2025. The video shows six small spherical objects flying in formation, moving smoothly and repeatedly changing direction over a tower at an estimated speed of about 770 km/h (480 mph).
It also includes footage from 1952 recorded by a US Navy officer showing objects resembling glowing balls moving in formation over Utah. Although investigations at the time suggested they may have been birds reflecting sunlight, many sightings from that period remained unexplained.
The documents also reveal details of a previously classified military program tasked with studying highly advanced technologies such as warp drives and wormholes. They also document government funded research from 2008 with a budget of $22 million dedicated to studying these “unidentified aerial phenomena” and the medical effects or injuries reportedly suffered by people who claimed to have encountered the unidentified craft.
The batch also includes another infrared sensor video recorded by the US Indo Pacific Command (PACOM), showing an anomalous phenomenon over the Yellow Sea in 2023.
Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell confirmed that relevant agencies, including the All domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), are continuing to review and prepare the next batches of files. He said the Pentagon will continue releasing new batches of files gradually through the official government website, making them publicly accessible without security clearances.

Dozens of photographs, videos and eyewitness accounts have since been made public.
The Pentagon has said it will release new documents on these phenomena every few weeks.
